Friends, today I have an encouragement card to share with you. Sometimes a kind word can make all the difference.

This card features the Hot Air Balloon Stamp Set & Dies. If you missed my previous cards, you can find them here:

Let's get right to my card:

To make this card, I started by die cutting a large cloud from Basic White Cardstock, using the Bright Skies Dies.

Then I stamped my sentiment from the Hot Air Balloon Stamp Set onto the cloud in Fresh Freesia Ink.

I've found the cloud dies in the Bright Skies set to be very useful in many projects! Here's a look at the dies:

Next, I cut out 3 hot air balloons (with baskets attached) from the Lighter Than Air DSP. This paper retired at the end of April, but no worries! Simply stamp the balloons and baskets in colours of your choice, using the Hot Air Balloon Stamp Set. Then cut them out with the Hot Air Balloon Dies or Paper Snips scissors.

Colours used in my balloons: Lemon Lolly, Petal Pink & Fresh Freesia. Baskets are Calypso Coral.

To assemble, I adhered a 3 1/2" x 5 1/2" Lemon Lolly Cardstock panel to a 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" Fresh Freesia Cardstock card base. Then I added a 3" x 5 1/2" strip of Lighter Than Air DSP. For a great current DSP option, I recommend the Bright & Beautiful DSP, which includes most of the same colours.

To finish, I layered on the cut-outs and popped up some of them with Stampin' Dimensionals™. I embellished with Rainbow Adhesive-Backed Dots. (See above.)

My final step was to add a bow made from the now-retired Sheer Ribbon Combo in Lemon Lolly. A good currently available alternative is to use the Lemon Lolly Twine from the Baker's Twine Three Color Pack:
