Q. Many people have asked me, “What’s the catch?”
A. There is no catch! If you decide not to remain a member, you get to keep all your free stuff and just go back to being a customer.
Q. Don’t I have to sell?
A. No, selling is not required. In fact, the majority of members (called “demonstrators”) do not sell or hold classes. They buy just for themselves. You’re welcome to join for the deal - and stay for the community and other perks.
Q. What are the other perks?
A. During membership, you’ll receive a minimum of 20% off future orders, the chance to participate in exclusive demonstrator-only crafting events & conferences, the opportunity to pre-order from new releases weeks before customers, membership in the worldwide Stampin’ Up!®️network, and membership in Creative Cafe.
Q. Do I have to buy a certain amount to stay a member?
A. When you join in October, you'll secure your membership thru April 30, 2026. To remain a member beyond that date, and continue to receive the membership discount and other perks, you'll need to achieve a quarterly minimum of approximately $400.
Q. What happens if I join and don't reach the quarterly minimum by April 30?
You'll simply enjoy the benefits while you're a member, then go back to being a customer. No worries! You keep all your free items and there is no penalty. You can even re-join with your previous team leader as soon as the first day of the next month after your membership ended! Example: membership ends April 30 and you may re-join May 1.
Q. Is a government license required in order to join?
Certain provinces (such as New Brunswick, PEI & Manitoba) do require a license when you join, whether you intend to sell or not. I have such a license in New Brunswick and can help with info on how the process works here. Stampin' Up!® also provides info.
Q. I don’t have time to participate in anything else. Why should I join?
A. All participation is optional! Join for the deal and then set your own priorities for participating - in a few things, all the things, or nothing at all! It’s completely customizable to your individual needs.
Q. What’s special about Stampin’ Up!®️?
A. Besides making high-quality coordinating products, Stampin’ Up!®️ says they put people first. I’ve found that to be true in my time with them. They go out of their way to serve. In fact, CEO Sara Douglass has said that her goal with the company is to eradicate loneliness through the community we create together while crafting. That’s something I find really appealing and meaningful - and I hope you will, too.
Q. What’s Creative Cafe?
A. Creative Cafe is my membership group or “team.” You’ll automatically become a member when you join Stampin’ Up!.®️ All participation is optional. I offer a monthly meet with stamping news, an exclusive Facebook group, a $15/month card class, and more! (Scroll down for more details)
Q. What if I do want to start a business after I join?
Stampin’ Up!®️ provides lots of optional, free training, both for new members and on an ongoing basis to existing members. I’m also happy to help if and when you decide to start a business. But again, selling is not required.
