Kindest Gnomes Merry Christmas Card & Demo

Time for one more gnome card in our Storybook Gnomes series, friends! If you've missed the others, no worries! You'll find links to the cards at the end of this post.

Today's card is a pretty quick one from my Facebook Live today - watch the demo here. I go live each Tuesday at 10:30 am Atlantic, at Julie's Craft Attic

This card features the Kindest Gnomes Stamp Set, Gnomes Dies, and Celebrate Everything DSP. To start, I die cut the following:

  • Basic White 1” x 3 1/2” label using Stylish Shapes Dies
  • Basic Black 3” circle using Stylish Shapes Dies
  • Polished Pink hat using Gnomes Dies
  • Soft Suede nose using Gnomes Dies
  • Basic White beard using Gnomes Dies
  • Granny Apple Green feet using Gnomes Dies

With Polished Pink ink, I stamped the sentiment from Kindest Gnomes onto the right-hand side of the die-cut label. Then I used Multipurpose Liquid Glue to attach the die cuts and create the gnome. I adhered the left side of the stamped label to the back of the gnome, then attached the gnome and label to the Basic Black circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

From there, it was just a matter of assembling the card. I adhered a 1 3/4” x 4 3/4” piece of Celebrate Everything DSP to a 3 3/4” x 5” Polished Pink panel. Then I attached the Polished Pink panel to a 4” x 5 1/4” Basic Black panel. I added the Basic Black panel to a 5 1/2” x 8 1/2” Granny Apple Green card base with dimensionals, then used dimensionals again to attach the Basic Black circle to the card front. Finally, I added Classic Matte Dots.

This card design could be adapted easily to any colour scheme and DSP, so it's very versatile. Just check out how changing the hat and feet colours changes the card's appearance!
