Has the gnome trend taken your region by storm, friends? It seems everywhere I go, I see gnomes these days - stuffies, napkins, home décor...and now Christmas tree ornaments are starting to appear, too. Then again, who can resist these cute little guys?
Today's card uses items from the terrific - and trendy - Storybook Gnomes Suite. Le jeu d'estampes est également disponible en français.
This card is a simple make, so you could create a number of them in assembly line fashion for any special occasion. Here's how:
- Using Stylish Shapes Dies, cut a label from Pool Party Cardstock to fit your desired sentiment and a Basic White Cardstock 3" circle.
- Stamp sentiment from Kindest Gnomes stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink onto label.
- Prepare a 5 1/2” x 8 1/2” card base from Bermuda Bay Cardstock. Burnish with bone folder.
- Attach a 1 3/4” x 5 1/2” piece of Storybook Gnomes DSP to a 2 x 5 1/2” piece of Pale Papaya Cardstock. Add pieces to centre of card base.
- With Gnomes Dies, cut a gnome from Storybook Gnomes DSP. Alternative: stamp a gnome, colour it, and cut it out.
- Arrange gnome, ribbon, label, and circle as desired. Then attach a length of Pool Party ribbon to back of stamped label with glue dot.
- Add gnome and circle with dimensionals.
- Add Fine Sparkle Adhesive-Backed Gems as desired.
- Adhere a 4” x 5 1/4” Basic White panel to card’s interior. Stamp images & sentiments as desired.
