Kindest Gnomes Die-Cut Card

Ready for another gnome card, friends? This time, we'll be piecing the gnomes together, using die cuts that we make. Once again, the card uses items from the Storybook Gnomes Suite. Le jeu d'estampes est également disponible en français.

Since this card uses multiple die cut pieces, it takes a bit longer to make than the cards I've been showcasing over the past few days. But it's not difficult, and I think the effect is well worth the time. Here's how to create it:

1. Using Stylish Shapes Dies, cut out a 1 1/4” Polished Pink circle and a 1 3/4” Poppy Parade circle.
2. With Tuxedo Black Memento ink pad and Kindest Gnomes stamp set, ink only the word “warm” and stamp onto top of Polished Pink circle. Clean stamp. Then ink only the word “wishes” and stamp near bottom of circle. Close ink pad and clean stamp.
3. Using Gnomes Dies, cut as follows:
• 3 Gnome hats from Celebrate Everything DSP
• 3 noses from Pale Papaya Cardstock
• 3 beards from Basic White Cardstock
• 3 sets of feet: 2 Basic Black & 1 Poppy Parade
4. Prepare a 7” x 8 1/2” card base from Basic Black Cardstock. Fold in landscape orientation (with 8 1/2” edge on bottom) at 3 1/2”. Burnish with bone folder.
5. Piece gnomes together and adhere using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
6. Adhere circles together using dimensionals.
7. Attach a piece of Black & White Gingham ribbon to back of circles with a glue dot.
8. Add gnomes and circles to a 3 1/4” x 8 1/4” Granny Apple Green panel using dimensionals. Attach ribbon to back of panel with glue dot.
9. Tie a bow and attach to circles with glue dot.
10. Adhere Granny Apple Green panel to card base with dimensionals.
11. Add a 3 1/4” x 8 1/4” Basic White panel to card interior and stamp as desired.
