Friends, today I'm sharing a card that I made first in April - then many of the supplies that I used retired at the end of that month.

I decided to update the card with current supplies and different colours, to use in last night's in-person class. I find it fun to give myself this kind of challenge. How about you?

For my updated card, I went with a monochromatic colour scheme, made with similar colours in the pink/purple spectrum. I focused on Bubble Bath, Fresh Freesia, and Petunia Pop.

To make this card, I started by die cutting a small cloud using the Bright Skies Dies, from Silver Foil Sheets. I also cut a circle from Fresh Freesia Cardstock, using the Stylish Shapes Dies.

Next, I stamped a large balloon from the Hot Air Balloon Stamp Set in Bubble Bath Ink onto Basic White Cardstock. I added a sentiment and basket, both stamped in Petunia Pop Ink. I cut out the pieces with the Hot Air Balloon Dies.

To assemble, I added a 1 1/2" x 5" strip of Bright & Beautiful DSP to a 3 3/4" x 5" Basic White Cardstock panel. Then I attached the panel to a 4" x 5 1/4" Petunia Pop Cardstock panel. Using Stampin' Dimensionals™, I adhered the panels to a 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" Bubble Bath Cardstock card base.

Also using Stampin' Dimensionals™, I attached the die cuts (except the cloud) to the card. I tucked the cloud under the top right of the circle, adhering with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish the card, I added a bow made from Petunia Pop Bordered Ribbon, securing with Mini Glue Dots™. I embellished with Adhesive-Backed Sequins Trio.
