Friends, today I'm sharing the second of three cards featuring the beautiful Easter Lilies Stamp Set. If you missed last week's card, the video & instructions are here.
I love that the sentiments in this set aren't all about Easter, so they can be used year-round, either with the lilies or other stamp sets!
My card today is made with just one cardstock - white! We'll add the colour with inks and embossing.
Here's my card:
To make this card, I started by die cutting the pieces of the flower, plus 3 leaves, from Basic White Cardstock with the Easter Lilies Dies. These dies are out of stock right now, but other floral dies - such as Irresistible Blooms - would work well, too.
I stamped my sentiment from the Easter Lilies Stamp Set in Versamark Ink onto the bottom right corner of a 3 3/4" x 5" Basic White Cardstock panel. I sprinkled Gold Embossing Power from the Metallics Embossing Powders over the image, then tapped off the excess and returned it to the jar. Then I used my Heat Tool to work its magic, turning the powder into a shiny, raised surface.
To colour the flower pieces and leaves, I used Blending Brushes and three inks: Fresh Freesia, Flirty Flamingo, and Parakeet Party. Then I assembled the flower and leaves, using Mini Glue Dots™ to secure the pieces. I added the flower to my embossed white panel using Stampin' Dimensionals™.
To finish the card, I attached the panel to a 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" Basic White Thick Cardstock card base with Stampin' Dimensionals. Then I embellished with 2022-2024 In Color™ Pearls. Since they are now no longer available, Adhesive-Backed Sequins Trio would be a good alternative:
