Blueberry Bunches Gingham Card

Friends, have you used the Glorious Gingham patterned paper yet?

Today I want to share a card using this lovely paper, plus the equally lovely Blueberry Bunches Stamp Set. If you missed yesterday's card with that set, find it here: Blueberry Bunches Birthday Card.

I've become quite fond lately of cards that use a white card mat on a white card base. I think it gives the card such a clean look - and any colours really pop! 

Here's today's card:

To make this card, I started by cutting two squares (one slightly larger than the other) with my Stylish Shapes Dies. I used Basic White and Blueberry Bushel Cardstocks.

Then I used Tuxedo Black Memento Ink to stamp my sentiment from the Blueberry Bunches Stamp Set onto the bottom left of the white square. I added the smaller of the blueberry images in the stamp set to the square, stamping off the edges. Using Blueberry Bushel and Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blends™, I coloured the image. 

Next, I embossed a 3 3/4" x 5" Basic White Cardstock panel using one of the Stripes & Splatters 3D Embossing Folders. (These folders are no longer available, but any other could be substituted.) Then I added a 1 1/2" x 5" strip of Glorious Gingham DSP in Blueberry Bushel to the middle of the panel.

To assemble, I adhered together the two squares, then used Stampin' Dimensionals™ to add them to the embossed panel. I then attached the panel to a 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" Basic White Thick Cardstock card base with Stampin' Dimensionals™, too. 

My final step was embellishing with 2022-2024 In Color™ Pearls. These have since sold out, but Tinsel Gems Four-Pack would be an excellent alternative, as they include Blueberry Bushel:
