Easter Lilies & Palms Card Demo

Friends, today I'm excited to share the first of three Easter Lilies cards. Receive my card packets with the pre-cut pieces to make the 3 cards, when you place an order with me in March! (Min. order $60 before tax/shipping.) Dies are not required to complete the projects.

Some of you may know that I'm an Anglican priest, as well as an Independent Stampin' Up!®️ demonstrator. Since my faith is the foundation of my life, I really appreciate the faith-based sentiments in the Easter Lilies Stamp Set. And the best thing is, they aren't all about Easter, so they can be used year-round, either with the lilies or other stamp sets!

Here's my card for today:

To make this card, I started by stamping the palm branch from the Easter Lilies Stamp Set in Parakeet Party Ink. I stamped it repeatedly and randomly off the edges of a 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" Parakeet Party card base's card front.

If you love Parakeet Party, now's the time to purchase any items or refills you need. All 5 2022-2024 In Colors™ will retire May 1st or when they sell out, whichever comes first. We'll also say goodbye to Sweet Sorbet, Orchid Oasis, Starry Sky, and Tahitian Tide.

Here are all five 2022-2024 In Colors™:

Next, I used the Scalloped Contours Dies to cut the 2nd largest scalloped rectangle from Basic White Cardstock. I swiped my embossing buddy across the paper to remove the humidity. Then I stamped my sentiment in Versamark Ink. I sprinkled Silver Embossing Power from the Metallics Embossing Powders over the image, then tapped off the excess and returned it to the jar. Then I used my Heat Tool to work its magic, turning the powder into a shiny, raised surface.

I repeated the inking and embossing process with the lily and leaves images, using a separate piece of Basic White Cardstock.

I used Blending Brushes and my Lemon Lolly Ink Pad to add some some colour  to the lily. I did the same with Parakeet Party Ink on the leaves.

Here's the beautiful Easter Lilies Stamp Set:

I cut out the lily and leaves with the Easter Lilies Dies, but you could use Paper Snips scissors instead. Then I adhered the lily and leaves to it using Stampin' Dimensionals™ and Mini Stampin' Dimensionals™.

I added a bow made in Lemon Lolly Ribbon from the 3/8" Sheer Ribbon Combo Pack, securing with a Mini Glue Dot™. This pack also includes Bubble Bath and Azure Afternoon ribbons, so it's become a favourite for me lately:

To finish the card, I embellished with Rhinestone Basic Jewels. Then I added the completed panel to the card base with Stampin' Dimensionals™.
