Tip Tuesday: Use the Die Cut Scrap

Friends, what do you do with the pieces that are left over after you create a die cut? (I mean the outline or scrap.)

Here's an idea - put that scrap to work!

For Valentine's Day, I cut out a number of hearts using the Hearts of Elegance Bundle. (A few are pictured above.) 

The hearts come in several sizes - even one large enough to make heart-shaped cards! Plus there are some with beautiful embossing on them.

I kept the outlines around the hearts. Then I used one of the outlines on this card:

I was really pleased with the result! Not only did I get to use a scrap, but I was able to make the absolute most of my Gold Foil Sheets by using every single millimetre of them this way!
