Happy Valentine's Week, friends! I hope you are enjoying this time to celebrate those you love - friends, family, or perhaps a significant other.
I asked viewers of my Julie's Craft Attic Facebook Page which card they'd like me to demo in my Facebook Live this week. A heart-shaped card or an easy Valentine?
Thanks to everyone who voted! I've made an easy Valentine for you today. But bonus - I'll also show you how to make a heart-shaped card!
Here's my easy Valentine:

This card is so easy to make! Some cutting and then just one die-cut heart. I love simple yet clean & elegant cards. How about you?
Here's the beautiful Marbled Elegance Suite I used to make it. I used the Hearts of Elegance Bundle & Marbled Elegance paper. The paper was out of stock for awhile but is back, yay!
I made the little heart "embellishments" with Gold Foil Sheets and my Bee Builder Punch. It's regularly $33 but until Feb 28, it can be chosen FREE with $75 spend on your order during Sale-A-Bration!
Bonus - here's how to make a heart-shaped card!
First, cut an 8 1/2" x 11" piece of cardstock in half to make a 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" card base. Score in the middle at 4 1/4", then fold. It's helpful to use a Bone Folder to make a crisp fold, to be ready for the next step.
Take the largest heart-shaped die from the Hearts of Elegance Bundle. Place the top of the heart just over the edge of the fold on your card base.
Tip: You should be able to see a tiny bit of empty space between the fold and the top of the die.
Use the Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine to die cut your card base. It will cut the two layers of paper at once, making a heart-shaped card with a couple of hinges on top!
Here's the final card, which we made in my online Valentine Card Event class recently. If you like it, why not check out my events here?
