And here's today's card, with the adorable turtle:
To make this card, I started by using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink to stamp the turtle and sentiment from the Playing in the Rain Stamp Set onto scraps of Basic White Cardstock.
I coloured the turtle with Peach Pie, Shy Shamrock, and Pretty in Pink Stampin' Blends. Since I wanted the turtle's body to be significantly darker than the shell, I coloured the body twice with Dark Shy Shamrock. Since Stampin' Blends are alcohol-based (rather than water-based), it's possible to colour over the same area many times - it won't pill as there is no water involved.
I cut out the sentiment with Paper Snips Scissors, then used the Playing in the Rain Dies to cut out the turtle. I also die cut a large circle with Stylish Shapes Dies and a small label with Perennial Postage Dies. For both, I used the super-sparkly new 2024-2026 In Color™ Glimmer Specialty Paper in Peach Pie. Here's a look at this glittery paper:
To assemble, I used Stampin' Dimensionals™ to add a 3 1/4" x 4 3/4" panel of Unbounded Beauty DSP to a Basic White Note Card.
I then wrapped a length of Pretty in Pink Bordered Ribbon around the panel, securing on the back with Mini Glue Dots™. I slipped a length of ribbon through the secured piece, tied, and trimmed.
To finish, I added all the cut-outs with Stampin' Dimensionals™. Then I embellished with Adhesive-Backed Sequins Trio.
