This month, our Make & Takes feature the super-cute Playing in the Rain Stamp Set & Dies. Who can resist these cute springtime animals? I also highlighted the 5 new In Colors™.
Here's the first card:
To make this card, I first used the Cheerful Daisies Dies to cut a label from Basic White Cardstock. (The label in this set is a very nice one!)
Then I stamped my sentiment from the Playing in the Rain Stamp Set onto it in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.
I also stamped the fox in the same ink onto a scrap of Basic White Cardstock. I coloured the fox with Stampin' Blends: Summer Splash, Petunia Pop & Peach Pie. I then cut out the fox with the Playing in the Rain Dies.
Here's the Playing in the Rain Stamp Set:
To assemble, I added a 3" x 4 1/2" panel of Thoughtful Journey DSP to a 3 1/4" x 4 3/4" panel of Basic White Cardstock.
I then wrapped a length of Summer Splash Bordered Ribbon around the panels, securing on the back with Mini Glue Dots™. I slipped a small length of ribbon through the piece already secured, tied, and trimmed. Then I adhered the stamped label, and fox with Stampin' Dimensionals™.
To finish the card, I used Stampin' Dimensionals™ to attach the panels to a Basic White Note Card. Then I embellished with Rhinestone Basic Jewels.
