To make this card, I started by cutting a tag from Basic White Cardstock, using the Designer Tags Dies. I then stamped my sentiment from the Share a Milkshake Stamp Set onto it in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.

I love the decorative Designer Tags Dies, especially for the largest tag, which you can feed ribbon through:

Next, I stamped a cherry in Sweet Sorbet Ink, repeatedly and randomly, over a 3 3/4" x 5" panel of Basic White Cardstock.

Helpful Hints: rotate the cherry each time you stamp, for a random look. Also, make sure to stamp over the edges of the panel.

Sweet Sorbet is one of the 2022-2024 In Colors™ retiring at the end of the month. It's a good idea to order your Sweet Sorbet items now, before they sell out. As I write, the Ink Refill has sold out, but the ink pad, cardstock, and markers are still available.

I attached the stamped cherry panel to a 4" x 5 1/4" Basic Black Cardstock panel. Then I cut enough Black & Very Vanilla Large Check Ribbon to feed through the tag, and adhere to the back of the Basic Black panel - but I did not adhere it yet.

First, I added a little Stampin' Seal to the back of the tag, then adhered the ribbon to it. I also applied Stampin' Dimensionals™ to the tag and attached it to the cherry panel. Then I secured the ribbon's ends to the back of the Basic Black panel with Mini Glue Dots™.

I then fed a small length of the ribbon through the piece on the card, at the left of the tag. I tied and trimmed it.

A very similar ribbon - Black & White Gingham - is retiring soon and currently on sale. It would work great in this card! Here it is:

Using the Cherry Builder Punch, I punched out a:

  • cherry from Sweet Sorbet Cardstock
  • leaf from Parakeet Party Cardstock
  • stem from Pecan Pie Cardstock
I pieced the cherry together with tiny dots of Multipurpose Liquid Glue, then used Stampin' Dimensionals™ to add the cherry to the card.

This fantastic punch is retiring soon and 50% off. At just $15, it's a steal!

As a final touch, I embellished with 2022-2024 In Color™ Pearls. They've now sold out, but another embellishment of your choice would work equally well.
