So Refreshing Limeade Card

Friends, when we were in Curaçao for our 30th anniversary trip, one of the drinks available every day in the resort's restaurant was lime juice. It was so refreshing, with its tart zing and subtle sweetness!

So today I'm sharing a card showing a pitcher of limeade. It's made with the So Refreshing Stamp Set and uses minimal supplies & equipment.

Here's my card:

To make this card, I started by using my So Refreshing Stamp Set to stamp onto scraps of Basic White Cardstock:

• a pitcher outline and two glass outlines in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink
• contents of all the above in Lemon Lime Twist Ink
• a lime slice onto the top of the pitcher in Lemon Lime Twist Ink

I then arranged a 1 3/4" x 5" strip of Glorious Gingham DSP in Lemon Lime Twist at the bottom of a 3 3/4" x 5" panel of Basic White Cardstock. (I did not adhere it yet, to allow for re-stamping if needed.) I stamped my sentiment in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink at the top right corner of the Basic White panel.

Next, I adhered the Glorious Gingham strip to the Basic White panel. 

I then stretched a length of Parakeet Party Metallic Woven Ribbon across the panel, securing on the back with Mini Glue Dots. I also fed a small length through the strip of ribbon, tying and trimming it.

I attached the Basic White panel to a 4" x 5 1/4" Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock panel. I used Paper Snips scissors to cut out the pitcher and glasses, then added them to the panel. If you'd rather use the So Refreshing Dies, they are retiring soon and on sale:

With Stampin' Dimensionals™, I attached the panels to a 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" Basic White Thick Cardstock card base. As a final step, I embellished with Adhesive-Backed Sparkle Gems.
