Playing in the Rain Stampin' Blends™ Background Card

Friends, today we have our 4th and final card in our series featuring the Playing in the Rain Stamps & Dies. If you missed the previous cards, find them here:

To make this card, I started by using the Scalloped Contours Dies to cut a scalloped rectangle from Flirty Flamingo Cardstock. With Playing in the Rain Dies, I also cut out 3 clouds from Holographic Trio Specialty Paper.

I then transitioned to stamping. I stamped the sentiment from the Playing in the Rain Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink onto a Basic White Cardstock scrap and cut it out with Paper Snips.

Next, I stamped the turtle in Tuxedo Black onto a Basic White Cardstock scrap. I coloured it with Stampin' Blends™: Daffodil Delight, Flirty Flamingo, and Old Olive. Then I cut it out with Playing in the Rain Dies.

To make the background, I used Balmy Blue and Old Olive Stampin Blends™to scribble across a 2 5/8" x 3 7/8" Basic White Cardstock panel. I adhered it to the scalloped rectangle, then added both panels to a Basic White Note Card with Stampin' Dimensionals™.

To assemble, I used Stampin' Dimensionals™ to layer all the elements onto the card. I embellished with Loose Frosted Dots and added a bow tied with Sweet Sorbet Metallic Woven Ribbon.
