Playing in the Rain Bunny with Kite Card

Friends, today I've got the second card in our series featuring the super-cute Playing in the Rain Stamps & Dies. If you missed yesterday's card, find it here.

Today's card shows a happy bunny with a kite - so hard to resist! 

I'll include a clickable photo supply list for you at the end of this post.

To make this card, I started by using the Scalloped Contours Dies to cut a scalloped rectangle from Smoky Slate Cardstock. With the Playing in the Rain Dies, I also cut a kite from Fresh as a Daisy DSP.

I stamped the sentiment from the Playing in the Rain Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink onto a matching 2 5/8" x 4" panel cut from the mini card sheet included in the Fresh as a Daisy DSP. This great DSP is 15% off thru June 30th.

I then stamped the bunny, also in Tuxedo Black, onto a Basic White Cardstock scrap. Using Stampin' Blends™ in Smoky Slate, Balmy Blue, and Flirty Flamingo, I coloured the bunny and used Paper Snips to cut it out.

To assemble, I adhered the stamped DSP panel to my scalloped rectangle, then used Stampin' Dimensionals™ to add them to a Basic White Note Card.

Next, I used Stampin' Dimensionals™ to layer on the bunny and kite. I embellished with Loose Frosted Dots. Finally, I tied a bow in Sweet Sorbet Metallic Woven Ribbon, securing it to the kite with a Mini Glue Dot™. This ribbon works with so many pink hues:
