Hello Ladybug Easel Card

Friends, here in Saint Stephen, it was feeling positively spring-y today! Temperatures were enough above freezing to start melting the ice pellets we received on the weekend. And puddles were everywhere!

So today I have a spring-feeling ladybug card for you:  

Featuring the Hello Ladybug stamp set and Ladybug Builder Punch, this is a funfold easel card. But don't worry, it's not difficult! I'll provide all the instructions below, along with a clickable photo supply list. Ce jeu d'estampes est également disponible en français.

Here's how to make the card:

1. Cut a 5 1/2” x 4 1/4” Sweet Sorbet Cardstock panel.
2. Cut another Sweet Sorbet panel of 5 1/2” x 3 1/2”, scoring at 2” and 4 3/4”. Fold on the score lines and attach the smallest folded portion to the centre of the first Sweet Sorbet panel to create your card base.
3. Adhere a 4” x 5 1/4” panel of Lovely in Linen DSP to the second Sweet Sorbet panel, covering the section where the two DSP panels are connected.
4. Attach a 3 1/4” 2 1/2” DSP piece and  a 3 1/4” x 1 3/4” DSP piece to the front fold sections of the card base.  
5. Attach a 4” x 1” DSP strip to a 4” x 1 1/4” Sweet Sorbet strip. Using dimensionals, adhere to interior of card base about 1/3 of the way from the bottom.
6. Using Painted Labels Dies, cut a tag from Very Vanilla Cardstock. Stamp sentiment in Tuxedo Black, then adhere with dimensionals to front of card.
7. With the Ladybug Builder Punch, cut out a ladybug body from Basic Black and wings from Sweet Sorbet. Adhere wings to body and add spots with Basic Black Stampin’ Write Marker. Adhere to card.
8. Add Glossy Dots as desired.
