Friends, I had so much fun making the ice cream card yesterday, using the Framed Florets Bundle & Ice Cream Cone Builder Punch, that I decided to make it again - in completely different colours!
Here's what they both look like. Which one do you prefer?
I blogged the instructions for the Sweet Sorbet & Petal Pink card on the left yesterday. Find instructions & a supply list here. Now I'll show how to make the Balmy Blue & Tahitian Tide card on the right:
I started by using the smallest (and plainest) oval from Framed Florets twice, to cut from Balmy Blue and Basic White Cardstock. I kept the exterior Balmy Blue oval and the interior Basic White oval for this card, reserving the other pieces for another project. Then I flipped them over and connected them with household tape.
On a 1/2" x 2 1/4" scrap of Basic White Cardstock, I stamped the sentiment in Tahitian Tide. I then cut a chevron in the right side of it, as well as in the right side of a 1/2" x 2 1/2" scrap of Distressed Gold Specialty Paper. Then I used Mini Glue Dots to adhere them to each other. Next, I adhered a 3 1/4" x 4 3/4" panel of Country Floral Lane DSP to a Basic White Note Card.
I then added the ovals and stamped label to my card with Stampin' Dimensionals. Using the Ice Cream Cone Builder Punch, I punched the cone out of Distressed Gold Specialty Paper and the ice cream out of 2022-2024 In Color Glimmer Paper. I added them to the ovals with Stampin' Dimensionals.
Final steps were to embellish with Festive Pearls and a bow in Tahitian Tide 1/8" Metallic Woven Ribbon. I've included a clickable photo supply list for you at the end of this post.
