Amazing Thanks No-Stamping Card with Demo

Friends, after the snow day we had yesterday, everything is turning melty today. Yesterday's card was a snowy one (if you missed it, click here) to reflect the beautiful wintry landscape. Today I'm thankful for the brilliant sunshine - and so I've got a warmer-weather floral card for you:

Watch my demo here.

This card involves no stamping, as it features the Amazing Thanks Dies. Ce produit est également disponible en français. Paired with a beautiful DSP like this one (Hues of Happiness), the dies make creating a card a snap! I'll include a clickable photo supply list near the end of this post.

I started by using my Mini Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine and Amazing Thanks Dies to cut the word "thanks." By the way, if you need a Mini Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine, there is a great deal on right now. Just check out Join Creative Cafe & Stampin' Up!®, below. No selling required!

I cut the background/shadow word from a scrap of Gorgeous Grape Cardstock and the detailed word from a scrap of Basic White Cardstock, adhering them with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I also used the glue to attach the words to a 1 1/2" x 4" piece of Basic White Cardstock. I added a 2" x 3 1/2" piece of Lovely Layers Vellum to the back of the white cardstock, securing with Stampin' Seal.

Next I adhered a 3 3/4" x 5" Hues of Happiness DSP panel to a 4" x 5 1/4" Basic White Cardstock panel. I used Stampin' Dimensionals to attach the panels to a 4 1/4" x 11" Basic White Thick Cardstock card base that I had scored with my Paper Trimmer and folded & burnished with my Bone Folder. I added a bow made from a doubled length of Simply Elegant Trim, adhering with a Mini Glue Dot. My final step was to embellish with Glossy Dots Assortment.

I really love the uber-colourful Hues of Happiness DSP. Just check out the lovely pattern varieties:

In the clickable photo supply list near the end of this post, I'll include all the items I used to make this card - which add up to the amount of product you get to choose with one of the fantastic joining deals on right now.
