Sweet Gingerbread Sending Love Card

Friends, does this time of year cause visions of sugarplums - and gingerbread - to dance in your head? A great way to get a no-sugar sweet fix is to play with the super-cute Sweet Gingerbread Bundle. I found some ideas for cards using this bundle right in the pages of the Holiday Mini Catalogue. Here's one card I made:

This Bundle involves a lot of tiny pieces, which work together to create fabulous cards that look almost like actual gingerbread houses. I also gathered pieces from various suites to make the card, and I'll include a clickable photo supply list for you at the end of this post.

To start my card, I did all the stamping. I used Blushing Bride for the door, windows, wreath, and lollipops, then I stamped a second wreath and the sentiment in Granny Apple Green. I finished with a Crumb Cake house, then I used the dies to cut out almost all the pieces. (Two exceptions: I used Paper Snips to cut out the green holly leaves and the sentiment.) I also used the dies to cut out Crumb Cake patio stones, a Basic White roof, and snowbanks 3" wide from Basic White Cardstock and Awash in Beauty DSP.

To assemble the card, I adhered a 3" x 4 1/2" Santa Express DSP panel to a 3 1/4" x 4 3/4" Crumb Cake panel. I layered on my snowbanks, then used dimensionals and Multipurpose Liquid Glue to add all the other pieces. Then I adhered the entire scene to a Basic White Note Card with dimensionals and added Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels as holly berries.
