After having our first snowfall last weekend - even though it didn't last - I'm thinking about the white stuff. It always feels so peaceful and cozy to watch the flakes floating by, when you're inside with a cuppa and a good book.
So today's card features the beautiful Snowflake Specialty Vellum, along with the Peace to You stamp set. You can find a clickable photo list of the items I used at the end of this post. And if you missed yesterday's Peace to You card, featuring the large nativity image, you can find it here.
To make this card, I started by die-cutting a Basic White Cardstock label, using the Waves Dies. I rubbed my Powder Pal over the label to remove any humidity or stray dust, then I stamped my sentiment from the Peace to You stamp set in invisible Versamark Ink. I placed the label on a scrap paper, then poured Silver Embossing Powder generously over it. Next I used my heat tool to emboss the ink. If you've never embossed, it is super easy - if you can use a hairdryer, you can use a heat tool! And it looks like magic, as the image turns from dull powder to a shiny, raised texture.
If you're needing several different items, the best deal is to join my Creative Cafe group! For $135 (no shipping or tax in most provinces), you'll get to choose $165 worth of items!
