Christmas Scottie Merry Christmas Card

Do you have pets, friends? Or any favourite animals? We are a terrier household, having had a very adventuresome Welsh Terrier for 15+ years, and now a 5-year-old super-affectionate Mini Schnauzer. We just love those fractious little buddies! And so I couldn't resist making a card with this season's Christmas Scottie Bundle:

This card features the cute Christmas Scottie stamp set and Scottie Dog Punch. (Buy them together as a Bundle and save 10%!) I went with a classic gold, black, and red colour scheme for simplicity and elegance. For product info, check out the photo list at the end of this post. I started by die cutting a 2 3/4" Basic White square, using the Stylish Shapes Dies. Then I stamped my sentiment on the top in Poppy Parade Ink. I used the Scottie punch to create a terrier out of Gingham Cottage DSP, then I added a Gold Metallic Specialty Paper bow (also made with the punch). I attached the Scottie to the stamped white square with dimensionals, then adhered the square to a 3" Poppy Parade square that I'd cut with my Paper Trimmer. To embellish, I added some Classic Matte Dots.

With my die cutting machine, I cut a Gold Metallic Specialty Paper scalloped rectangle, using the largest shape in the Scalloped Contours Dies. I attached my Scottie panel to the scalloped rectangle with dimensionals, then also used dimensionals to adhere the card front to my 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" Thick White card base. Once the die cutting was done, it was a quick make!
