Yuletide Village Slimline Card

 Friends, are you familiar with slimline cards?

In a recent class focused on the Yuletide Village Stamp Set, I taught a slimline card. The stamp set, with its many quaint buildings, naturally lends itself to this long, landscape-style card.

Another feature of this card is that it mixes the CTMH supplies with Stampin' Up!®️ supplies. For the snowy background, I used one of the colours in the CTMH Secret Garden paper pack.

Here's how to make the card: 

1. Onto the top of a 3" x 8" panel of Secret Garden Coordinating Cardstock, in landscape orientation, stamp repeatedly the garland from the Yuletide Village Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. 
2. Using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink, stamp onto Basic White Cardstock one of each building, plus the large tree, from the Yuletide Village Stamp Set.
3. Colour the buildings and tree as desired. I used Stampin' Blends™ in: Azure Afternoon, Daffodil Delight, Pecan Pie, Petal Pink, Poppy Parade, Pumpkin Pie, and Shaded Spruce.
4. Using Paper Snips scissors, cut out each building and the large tree.
5. Cut a 7" x 8 1/2" slimline card from Pool Party Cardstock. Score the 7" length at 3 1/2" so that the card front is 3 1/2" x 8 1/2" when folded.
6. Adhere a 3 1/4" x 8 1/4" panel of Basic White Cardstock to the card front. 
7. Glue the Secret Garden paper panel to the card front.
8. Adhere a 3/4" x 8" strip of White Glimmer Specialty Paper to the bottom of the Secret Garden paper panel.
9. Arrange buildings and tree on card as desired. Secure with Stampin' Dimensionals™.
10. Embellish with Rhinestone Basic Jewels.
