Seaside Wishes Beachcomber Card

Friends, one of my favourite ways to spend time at the beach is beachcombing for shells. Any kindred spirits out there?

So today I'm sharing the second in my series featuring the Seaside Wishes Bundle. See yesterday's card here.

This time, my card shows what might be found by beachcombing on the Atlantic or Pacific coast of Canada:

To make this card, I started by die cutting:

  • a set of sand dollars from Basic Beige Cardstock, using the Seaside Wishes Hybrid Embossing Folder & Dies
  • two filigree pieces (coral?) from Petal Pink Cardstock, using the Seaside Wishes Dies
  • a large circle from Thoughtful Journey DSP, using Stylish Shapes Dies
I also used the Hybrid Embossing Folder (without the dies) to emboss a 4" x 5 1/4" Crumb Cake Cardstock panel.

Here's the terrific Seaside Wishes Bundle, which includes stamps, dies, and a hybrid embossing folder:

Next, I stamped my sentiment from the Bundle in Petunia Pop Ink onto my die-cut circle. I used the same ink to stamp a large and a small sea star onto scraps of Basic White Cardstock, then cut them out with the Bundle's dies.

From there, it was all about assembly. I used Stampin' Dimensionals™ to add my embossed panel to a 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" Petal Pink Cardstock card base. Then I layered on all my die cuts with a combination of Stampin' Dimensionals™ and Mini Glue Dots™.

To finish, I added a bow made from two strands of Baker's Twine Essentials Pack, securing with a Mini Glue Dot™, and I embellished with 2024-2026 In Color™ Resin Dots. Here are the dots, which have a fairly flat top, so they are great for mailing:
