Quick Seaside Wishes Card

Friends, how's summer treating you thus far?

For us, it's been a time of traveling back and forth between home in St Stephen, New Brunswick and our cottage on Lake Simcoe, Ontario. And it has been HOT! It seems like we've had nothing but heat warnings everywhere we've been!  

Here's one of the beaches in our cottage community. The water is clear and warm (in the 20s C!), so great for swimming or just hanging out on a pool float.

In honour of our lakeside Ontario cottage - and our town next to the Atlantic Ocean's Bay of Fundy in New Brunswick - I'm starting a series featuring the lovely Seaside Wishes Bundle.

Here's my first card:

I love the way that the Hybrid Embossing Folder makes this card a (sea) breeze! It allows for embossing and cutting in a single step! That's how I made the large sand dollar on the card, using Basic White Cardstock.

I also used Unbounded Love Dies to cut two identical labels. The first was from Basic White Cardstock, and I stamped my sentiment from the Seaside Wishes Bundle onto it in Petunia Pop Ink. 

The second label was from the 2024-2026 In Color™ Glimmer Specialty Paper, to add a little bling to the card. Here's the super-sparkly paper, which comes in 5 colours:

From there, assembling the card was easy! I layered the following paper pieces onto a 4" x 5 1/4" Basic White Cardstock panel:

• a 3 1/4" x 5 1/4" piece of Unbounded Beauty DSP 
• a 2 1/2" x 5 1/4" strip of Petunia Pop Cardstock
• a 2" x 5 1/4" strip of Unbounded Beauty DSP

Next, I used Stampin' Dimensionals to add the white panel to a 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" Basic White Thick Cardstock. I adhered my sentiment label to my glittery label with Mini Glue Dots™, overlapping the white label over the glittery label. With Stampin' Dimensionals™, I added the die cuts to my card.

My final step was embellishing with Adhesive-Backed Sequins Trio.
