Blueberry Bunches Birthday Card

Friends, today I'm sharing the first card in a series featuring the Blueberry Bunches Stamp Set.

Do you have wild blueberries in your area? This part of southwestern New Brunswick is known for them, and I enjoy some of the tasty little morsels on my cereal every morning. They're delish - and a super food!

So I'm happy to celebrate this fabulous fruit with my card:

To make this card, I started by using my Stylish Shapes Dies to cut a large circle from Basic White Cardstock and a long label from Granny Apple Green Cardstock. Then I stamped my sentiment from the Blueberry Bunches Stamp Set onto the label in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.

I also stamped the large blueberry image in the same ink onto a piece of Basic White Cardstock. Using Blueberry Bushel and Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blends™, I coloured the image. 

Then I cut out the berry image with Paper Snips scissors and adhered it to my Basic White circle. I added the label with Stampin' Dimensionals™ and embellished with Adhesive-Backed Sequins Trio.

Next, I adhered a 3 3/4" x 5" panel of Meandering Meadows DSP to a 4" x 5 1/4" Berry Burst Cardstock panel. The Meandering Meadows paper includes several designs with Blueberry Bushel as a prominent colour, so it's a great pairing with this stamp set!

I added a 2" x 4" rectangle of Soft Shimmer Specialty Paper in Berry Burst to the DSP, then attached the blueberry image with Stampin' Dimensionals™. My final step was to adhere the completed panel to a 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" Fresh Freesia Cardstock card base, using Stampin' Dimensionals™.
