Meandering Meadows Thank You Card

Friends, today I have a thank you card to share that uses the gorgeous Meandering Meadows paper.

To make this card, I started by die cutting a tag from Basic White Cardstock, using the Waves Dies. I use this tag a lot, because I love how ribbon feeds through it for an elegant touch. 

I then stamped my sentiment onto the tag in Highland Heather Ink. I used a sentiment from the Pansy Patch Stamp Set. The font in that set is lovely and decorative, and I find it also stamps very clearly.

Next, I used a large square die from the Stylish Shapes Dies to cut a square shape from a 4" x 5 1/4" panel of Meandering Meadows DSP. 

I positioned another sheet of the DSP beneath the square opening, to decide which part of the scene I wanted to display on the card. I then cut the piece of DSP to fit behind the square opening. (Exact measurements are not important - the scene simply has to be slightly larger than your square.) I used household tape to adhere the scene to the back of the panel with the square opening.

Meandering Meadows DSP makes card creation easy - and so lovely! Here's a look at this beautiful paper:

I fed a length of Balmy Blue & White Variegated Ribbon through the tag, securing the ribbon to the back of the DSP panel with Mini Glue Dots.™ I tied a bow, trimmed it, and added it to the front with a Mini Glue Dot.™

With Stampin' Dimensionals™, I attached the panel to a 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" Basic White Cardstock card base. My final step was embellishing with Brushed Brass Butterflies.
