Friends, today I'd like to share another simple stamping card from my recent class. The star of the show is the beautiful Meandering Meadows paper.
If you missed yesterday's card, find it here.
Today's card is great for butterfly fans:
A supply list is available at the end of this post.
This card is super-simple to make, with a little die cutting. I started by using Stylish Shapes Dies to cut two circles - a larger one from Soft Shimmer Specialty Paper in Bubble Bath, and a slightly smaller one from Basic White Cardstock.I also die cut a butterfly using Designer Tags Dies. I love this set, as it has some really useful & decorative tags that I love - and it has this wonderful butterfly, too.
Here's a look at the Designer Tags Dies:
Next, I stamped my sentiment from the Pansy Patch Stamp Set in Highland Heather Ink onto the Basic White Circle. I adhered that circle to my Bubble Bath Circle, then used a Mini Glue Dot™ to add the butterfly. Tip: gently bend up the wings of the butterfly, to create a 3D effect.
From there, it was easy to assemble the card. I adhered a 2" x 5" strip of Meandering Meadows DSP to a 2 1/4" x 5 1/4" rectangle of Blueberry Bushel Cardstock. I attached these strips to my 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" Azure Afternoon Cardstock card base.
Check out the beautiful designs in the Meandering Meadows DSP. Card-making has never been so easy, with these lovely scenes!
To finish the card, I added the circles with Stampin' Dimensionals™ and embellished with Brushed Brass Butterflies.
