Friends, today I want to share a card inspired by a swap I received it at the Atlantic Stampers Demonstrators Retreat in September.
The beautiful swap was created by Renee Denief, and I changed some of the details to suit my own tastes and materials on hand.
Here's the card as I made it:
To make this card, I started by stamping. I used the Stars at Night Bundle to stamp the sentiment and large star in Night of Navy Ink onto Basic White Cardstock. With Paper Snips scissors, I cut out the sentiment. I used the dies to cut out the star.
Next, I used Paper Snips to cut a chevron shape in both ends of a 3/4" x 3" scrap of Night of Navy Cardstock. I attached the sentiment to it with Stampin' Dimensionals™.
I cut a 3 3/4" x 5" panel out of one side of a card from the Brushed Gold Cards & Envelopes. Then I used the Hybrid Embossing Folder to emboss the front with stars. These cards & envelopes are fabulous for using as-is or cutting into panels:
To assemble, I attached the embossed panel to a 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" Night of Navy Cardstock card base. With Stampin' Dimensionals™, I added the sentiment and star. To finish, I embellished with Neutrals Adhesive-Backed Sequins.
I hope you enjoyed this project, friends! Please check out my Special Offers below.
