Friends, it's turned suddenly very chilly here, with a high of -2 C today. Brr! On the plus side, the weather is definitely getting me into the Christmas spirit!
And so today I'm beginning a new series featuring the elegant Night Divine Bundle. I hope you'll enjoy the projects as much as I have working with them.
Here's today's card:
I'll include a clickable photo supply list at the end of this post.
To make this card, I started by stamping my sentiment from the Night Divine Bundle in VersaMark Ink onto a 3/4" x 3 1/2" scrap of Basic Black Cardstock.
I sprinkled Gold Embossing Powder from the Metallics Embossing Powders onto it, tapping off the excess. I returned the unused powder to the container, then used my Heat Tool to heat emboss. Even though I've embossed many times, it always looks like magic to me, as the shiny letters appear!
Next, I attached a 3" x 5 1/2" strip of the lovely O Holy Night DSP to a 3 1/2" x 5 1/2" panel of Crumb Cake Cardstock. Then I added them both to a 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" card base made from Night of Navy Cardstock.
Here's the beautiful O Holy Night paper, with its many patterns:
To finish the card, I used Stampin' Dimensionals™ to attach the stamped label, then added Rhinestone Basic Jewels. (I think they look like additional stars in the sky - and they add a bit of Christmas sparkle!) I also added a 3 3/4" x 5" Basic White Cardstock panel to the card's interior, as a writing surface.
Thanks so much for joining me today! Please check out my Special Offers below, including upcoming online and in-person classes.
