Fun on Wheels Skateboarding Card

Friends, today I have a card for you that would be great for a child or youth in your circle, as it features a skateboard and bright, fun colours. 

The stamping is simple, too, which is a great bonus!

And - spoiler alert - I also have news of a big SALE coming up soon!

First, though, here's today's card:

I found the design for this card on the Stampin' Up!® website, then modified it to suit my preferences.

To make this card, I started by stamping:

• a skateboard from the Fun on Wheels Bundle in Flirty Flamingo Ink onto a scrap of Basic White Cardstock, then cut it out with the dies. 
• a sentiment in Misty Moonlight Ink onto a 1 1/4" x 1 3/4" scrap of Flirty Flamingo Cardstock, then cut a chevron shape in the end.
• a map repeatedly and randomly across a Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock circle cut with Stylish Shapes Dies.

Next, I assembled the card with assorted pieces of the colourful Stargazing DSP. I have to admit that, when I first saw this DSP, I couldn't imagine using it much. But I've found it to be just right in several projects. Here it is:

To assemble, I adhered a 4" x 5 1/4" panel of Stargazing DSP to a 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" Basic White Thick Cardstock card base. I also attached two 1" x 4 1/2" strips of the DSP, overlapping them. I added a DSP circle cut with Stylish Shapes Dies.

Then I used Stampin' Dimensionals™ to attach the stamped circle, skateboard, and chevron label. 

My final step was embellishing with 2022-2024 In Color Pearls. Their iridescent sheen and variety of colours makes them a great choice to have on hand for a variety of projects:
