Friends, today I have the 3rd card in my series featuring the Let's Go Shopping Bundle. If you missed the previous cards, find them here:
Here's today's card:
Thus far in my series, I've been cutting out the shop images from the fabulous Les Shoppes DSP. But the DSP will eventually retire. So today I'm demonstrating how to create a shop image using the Let's Go Shopping Stamp Set, ink, and Stampin' Blends™.
Next, I stamped some details onto the building storeys:
- lamps in all 3 windows of the uppermost storey
- lamps in 2 windows of the middle storey, and a cafe sign in the middle window
- stained glass and a table with chairs in the window of the lower storey
Then I coloured the images using Stampin' Blends™ in Balmy Blue, Calypso Coral, Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, Flirty Flamingo, and Pecan Pie.
After that, I die cut, using Let's Go Shopping Dies:
- a lampstand from Gray Granite
- light for the lampstand in Daffodil Delight
- all 3 storeys of the building
To assemble the card, I adhered a 1" x 3 3/4" strip of Les Shoppes DSP to the bottom of a 3 3/4" x 5" panel of Stargazing DSP. Isn't it fantastic the way this DSP adds a night sky to our background?
I then added the DSP to a 4" x 5 1/4" Basic White Cardstock panel, securing it to a 4 1/4" x 11" Night of Navy Cardstock card base. I also attached a 3 3/4" x 5" Basic White Cardstock panel to the card's interior.
My final step was using Stampin' Dimensionals™ to layer on the lampstand, lamp, and building storeys.
