Swap Card for Atlantic Stampers Demonstrator Retreat

Friends, today I'm finishing up some swaps for this weekend's Atlantic Stampers Demonstrator Retreat. It's for any demonstrator in the Atlantic Provinces and being held in Nova Scotia. I'm really looking forward to meeting demos from around the region!

It's going to be a great weekend! I'm happy to share one of my swap cards with you, made for the Holiday Mini Catalogue swap.

I've included a photo supply list for you at the end of this post.

To make this card, I started by stamping my sentiment from the Stars at Night Stamp Set in Melon Mambo Ink onto a 2" x 3" piece of Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock. I cut a chevron shape into the bottom of the paper. I then adhered the stamped piece to a 2 1/2" x 3 1/2" piece of Holographic Trio Specialty Paper.

I attached  a 3" x 5 1/4" strip of Merry Bold & Bright DSP to a 4" x 5 1/4" panel of Melon Mambo Cardstock. This paper just shouts cheerful with its bright colours!

Next, I used Stampin' Dimensionals™ to add the Melon Mambo panel to a 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" Basic White Thick Cardstock card base. I also used Stampin' Dimensionals™ to attach the stamped chevron & holographic paper to the card base.

To finish the card, I tied a bow in the spectacular Silver & White 1/2" Sheer Ribbon, then attached it to the card with a Mini Glue Dot™. I found it really brought out the shine in the holographic paper. I embellished with Rhinestone Basic Jewels to add a little more holiday bling.
