Julie Golding Page: Rhino Ready Built Tough Card

Friends, today I have a 3rd card for you featuring the Rhino Ready Stamp Set. As you'll see from today's card, this set lends itself well to a variety of colours and card-making styles.

To make this card, I first used Stylish Shapes Dies to cut a large Basic White Cardstock circle and a large Petal Pink label. I also used the Rhino Ready Dies to cut out a tree and greenery from Soft Sea Foam and Pecan Pie Cardstocks.

I then stamped my sentiment from the Rhino Ready Stamp Set onto the label. I also stamped the rhino image onto a scrap of Basic White Cardstock. Then I coloured it with Smoky Slate and Flirty Flamingo Stampin' Blends™, colouring the toenails with Flirty Flamingo for a whimsical touch, and cut it out with Rhino Ready Dies. (Since they are no longer available, Paper Snips scissors would work well, too.)

Next, I adhered a 1 3/4" x 5 1/2" strip of Hello, Irresistible DSP to a 2" x 5 1/2" strip of Soft Sea Foam Cardstock. I love the way the Flirty Flamingo and Petal Pink in the DSP play off the Smoky Slate and Soft Sea Foam to make a vibrant card. To assemble, I first adhered the paper strips to a 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" Flirty Flamingo Cardstock card base. Then I layered on the circle, tree, greenery, label, and rhino, popping them up with Stampin' Dimensionals™.

As a finishing touch, I embellished with Flat Adhesive-Backed Pearls. While these embellishments were released as part of a seaside-themed suite, their pearlized hues pair so well with the colours in the Hello, Irresistible DSP:
