Friends, today's card is the 3rd in our series starring the spring-y Sweet Songbirds Stamp Set. If you missed the other cards, find them here and here.
Our card today is one for welcoming new friends:
Here's how to make the card:
- Using Sweet Songbirds Stamp Set, stamp:
- Sentiment in Mint Macaron Ink onto 1/2” tall scraps of Basic White Cardstock
- 2 birds (1 larger and 1 smaller) in Mint Macaron Ink onto scraps of Basic White Cardstock
- Eyes onto birds in Mossy Meadow Ink
- Cut each edge of sentiment scraps at an angle.
- With Songbird Builder Punch, cut out larger bird.
- With Country Bouquet Punch, cut out:
- 1 small heart from Country Floral Lane DSP
- 2 small hearts from Balmy Blue Cardstock
- Using Paper Snips scissors, cut out smaller bird.
- Using Tailor Made Tags Dies, cut the 2nd largest tag (either tag set will work) from Petal Pink Cardstock.
- With Gingham Embossing Folder, emboss 3 3/4” x 5” Basic White Cardstock panel.
- Cut a 2” square of Country Floral Lane DSP. Cut diagonally to make 2 triangles.
- Do the same with a 2 1/4” square of Balmy Blue Cardstock.
- Adhere DSP triangles to Balmy Blue Cardstock triangles.
- Add triangles to a 3 3/4” x 5” Basic White Cardstock panel.
- Adhere panel to a 4” x 5 1/4” Petal Pink Cardstock panel.
- Feed a small length of Fine Art Ribbon through tag, tie a knot, and trim.
- Layer onto panels the tag, sentiment pieces, birds, and hearts.
- Add panels to a 5 1/2” x 8 1/2” Mint Macaron Cardstock card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals™.
- Embellish with Pastel Adhesive-Backed Sequins.
