Happy Monday, friends! I hope you're having a good beginning to your week. To keep things fun and easy as we get back to routines after the weekend, I have a fairly simple card for you today.
Our card features the beautiful Dragonfly Garden Stamp Set. Ce jeu d'estampes est également disponible en français. I'll include a clickable photo supply list for you at the end of this post.
To make this card, I started by stamping the dragonfly and sentiment from the Dragonfly Garden Stamp Set in Shaded Spruce Ink onto scraps of Basic White Cardstock. I cut the sentiment scrap to 7/8" x 3" and cut out the dragonfly. Here's a look at the stamp set, which makes me think of dragonflies flitting among summery wildflowers. (Lovely thought, isn't it?)
To assemble, I began with a 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" Calypso Coral Cardstock card base. I then layered two pieces of Pretty Prints DSP (2 1/2" x 5" and 1/2" x 5") onto a 4" x 5 1/4" Basic White Cardstock panel. Pretty Prints DSP suggested itself to me for this card, as it comes in several vibrant colours, with natural flower and greenery prints.
Next, I adhered a 1/2" x 3 3/4" strip of Shaded Spruce Cardstock to the top of the panel and used Stampin' Dimensionals to add the sentiment and dragonfly. I attached the panel to the card base with Stampin' Dimensionals and embellished with Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels.
