Lighthouse Point Your Light Shines Card

Friends, we've just come out of a cold snap here in Saint Stephen, with wind chill in the -40 range. Very unusual indeed for here! But today it's hovering around zero Celsius again and snow is starting to melt.

In case you're discouraged about the length or cold of winter, I'm here to remind you that there's light at the end of the tunnel! Spring is definitely coming. And so I have a lighthouse card for you today, to help light the way:

Featuring the Lighthouse Point Bundle, this card design is my twist on one in Stampin' Up!®'s Annual Catalogue. I love that the whole paper-crafting industry encourages us to CASE - Copy and Share Everything. It's such a collaborative and creative way to craft!

Here's how to make the card:

1. Stamp sentiment with Whisper White Pigment Ink onto a Starry Sky label cut with Lighthouse Dies. Set aside to dry thoroughly. Clean stamp and block with water and/or a mild soap. 
2. Using Basic Gray Ink, stamp rock image off onto scrap paper, then stamp onto a scrap piece of Basic White Cardstock. Repeat to make two images.
3. Onto a 3 1/2” x 5” piece of Basic White Cardstock, stamp:
1. Very near the bottom of the paper, water image in Coastal Cabana
2. Just above water, lighthouse in Flirty Flamingo
3. Just beside lighthouse, light in Daffodil Delight
4. Cut out rocks with Lighthouse Dies or Paper Snips scissors.
5. Fold a 5 1/2” x 8 1/2” Starry Sky card base. Burnish with Bone Folder.
6. Adhere 3 1/2” x 5” piece of Basic White Cardstock to card’s interior.
7. Embellish interior of card with scrap of 2022-2024 In Color DSP.
8. Attach a 2 1/2” x 4 1/4” piece of 2022-2024 In Color DSP to front of card.
9. Using Stampin' Dimensionals, adhere lighthouse image to card base.
10. Add one rock image, then use Stampin' Dimensionals to pop up second rock image.
11. Attach label with Stampin' Dimensionals.
