Today's card focuses on a simple lighthouse image, then involves layering up the other card elements. And bonus - the White Frayed Ribbon on the card is now FREE with any $60 spend during Sale-A-Bration!
Here's how to make the card:
- Onto a 2 3/4” x 4 1/4” piece of Starry Sky Cardstock, stamp lighthouse in Whisper White Craft Ink toward top left. Stamp light in Whisper White Craft Ink beside lighthouse. Set aside to dry thoroughly. Clean stamp and block with water and/or a mild soap.
- Stamp sentiment with Basic Gray Ink onto a 1/2” x 2 1/4” scrap of Sweet Sorbet Cardstock. Close ink pad and clean stamp.
- Using Brick & Mortar 3D Embossing Folder in a standard-sized Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine, emboss a 1 1/4” x 3” piece of Basic Gray Cardstock.
- Adhere lighthouse to a 3” x 4 1/2” piece of Sweet Sorbet Cardstock.
- Add embossed Basic Gray Cardstock to bottom of lighthouse image.
- Using Mini Glue Dots, attach a piece of White Frayed Ribbon to cover seam where lighthouse image and Basic Gray Cardstock meet.
- Tie a bow in Orchid Oasis Woven Metallic Ribbon and trim as desired with Paper Snips scissors. Use Mini Glue Dots to secure at an angle on the back of the Sweet Sorbet label.
- Add label to White Frayed Ribbon with Stampin' Dimensionals.
- Fold Basic White Note Card. Burnish with Bone Folder.
- Attach lighthouse card front to card base with Stampin' Dimensionals.
- Embellish with Rhinestone Basic Jewels as desired.
If you need the Whisper White Craft Ink, it comes as an uninked stamp pad and an ink refill. But no worries, it's easy to apply the ink! Just squeeze some onto the ink pad and spread out evenly onto the pad with a palette knife, popsicle stick, or similar tool. The Craft Ink can also be used with Clear Embossing Powder (from the Basics Embossing Powders) to emboss images and sentiments.
