Friends, today is the 3rd and final instalment in our dry embossing techniques series. If you missed Thursday's card, on inking your embossing folder for a trendy distressed look, click here. If you missed Friday's card employing Blending Brushes on an embossed surface, click here.
For a soft landing into the weekend, today I have a fairly simple card for you. The technique is embossing on white card. I love the clean look this creates. Here's our card:
To make this card, I first used my Congratulations Embossing Folder (from the Let's Celebrate Embossing Folders) in my Mini Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine, to emboss a 2 3/4" Basic White Cardstock square. Tip: Arrange the square so that the bottom 1/2" is outside the embossing folder, leaving that section free from embossing so that you can stamp on it. I stamped the sentiment from the Framed Florets Stamp Set on the bottom of the square in Polished Pink ink. Then I adhered the square to a 3" Polished Pink square with Stampin' Seal.
To finish the card, I attached the squares to the card base with Stampin' Dimensionals, along with a butterfly in Balmy Blue Cardstock that I cut with Brilliant Wings Dies. I embellished with 2021-2023 In Color Opal Rounds.
