Framed Florets Dry Embossing on White Card

For a soft landing into the weekend, today I have a fairly simple card for you. The technique is embossing on white card. I love the clean look this creates. Here's our card:

To make this card, I first used my Congratulations Embossing Folder (from the Let's Celebrate Embossing Folders) in my Mini Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine, to emboss a 2 3/4" Basic White Cardstock square. Tip: Arrange the square so that the bottom 1/2" is outside the embossing folder, leaving that section free from embossing so that you can stamp on it. I stamped the sentiment from the Framed Florets Stamp Set on the bottom of the square in Polished Pink ink. Then I adhered the square to a 3" Polished Pink square with Stampin' Seal.

To assemble the card, I adhered a 3 3/4" x 5" Basic White Cardstock panel to the interior of a 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" Night of Navy card base, to provide a writing surface. Then I glued a 3 3/4" x 5" Fitting Florets DSP panel to a 4" x 5 1/4" Basic White Cardstock panel, adding them to the card base with Stampin' Dimensionals. While the DSP is no longer available, it could be substituted with another paper in coordinating colours, such as the gorgeous Hues of Happiness DSP:

To finish the card, I attached the squares to the card base with Stampin' Dimensionals, along with a butterfly in Balmy Blue Cardstock that I cut with Brilliant Wings Dies. I embellished with 2021-2023 In Color Opal Rounds.
