Dainty Flowers Charming Sentiments Card

Friends, I'd like to share with you a card that I made during a demo in my Facebook Galentine's party. Partygoers helped me choose the colours, which was an added layer of fun!

It's a super-simple card - a great one to make if you're new to crafting or transitioning from kits to from-scratch cards:

To make this card, I started by cutting out one of the flower ovals, to 3 3/4" x 5". Then I stamped a sentiment in Old Olive Ink from the Charming Sentiments Stamp Set. This set is very versatile, with words to suit many occasions during the year:

Next I cut a 4" x 5 1/4" panel of Rich Razzleberry Cardstock. I adhered the stamped floral oval to it using Stampin' Seal. Then, with Stampin' Dimensionals, I attached the panels to a 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" Basic White Thick Cardstock card base.

To give the card a little extra interest, I added a bow made with Starry Sky Metallic Woven Ribbon, securing with a Mini Glue Dot. Then I embellished the card with a few Adhesive-Backed Milky Dots.
