Favored Flowers Light the Candles Card

Friends, today I have cards for you that we made at an in-person party this morning. We started our party with fabulous cut-out birthday cards, from the Light the Candles Kit. The kit is available in both English and French. Here's what the cards look like:

At the party, we also put together a special extra project:

To make this card, we started by stamping a sentiment from the Light the Candles/Allumons les Bougies Kit on the right side of a 3 3/4" x 5" Basic White Cardstock panel. I used Evening Evergreen Ink, but Fresh Freesia or any other colour from the DSP (including black) would also work. 

Next we layered on a 2 1/2" x 5" strip of Blackberry Bliss Cardstock and a 2" x 5" strip of Favored Flowers Designer Series Paper (known as "DSP"), adhering both with Stampin' Seal. Along with having rich colours, this paper is available FREE during Sale-A-Bration with any $60 spend on a product order. We attached the panel with Stampin' Dimensionals to a 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" Fresh Freesia Cardstock card base. The final step was to embellish with Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels. (Rhinestone Basic Jewels would work as well.)
