On the Farm Good Day Note Card

Friends, one of my favourite songs is U2's "Beautiful Day." A recurring line goes like this:

"It's a beautiful day / Don't let it get away." 

Along those same lines, my card today encourages us to think of today as a good day:

To make the card, I used Scalloped Contours Dies to cut the middle-sized scalloped rectangles from Soft Suede Cardstock. Then I cut a small Basic White tag with the Tailor Made Tags Dies and stamped my sentiment on it in Soft Suede. Using a small, doubled length of Parakeet Party Metallic Woven Ribbon, I tied a knot through the tag and trimmed the ends.

From there, assembly was quick. I folded a Basic White Note Card and adhered a 2" x 5" strip of DSP to it. I also attached a 2" x 3 1/4" DSP panel to my scalloped rectangle, adhering it and the tag to the card base with Stampin' Dimensionals. Then I embellished with Brushed Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dots. Voila: a cheerful encouragement card!
