Friends, I love finding innovative ways to use items - and creative combinations that don't usually go together.
So today I'm using the Framed Florets Bundle, but there's not a flower in sight! And I'm combining this bundle with the Ice Cream Cone Builder Punch from the Clearance Rack. I'll include a clickable photo supply list for you at the end of this post.
I started by using the smallest (and plainest) oval from Framed Florets twice, to cut from Sweet Sorbet and Basic White Cardstock. I kept the exterior Sweet Sorbet oval and the interior Basic White oval for this card, reserving the other pieces for another project. Then I flipped them over and connected them with household tape.
On a 1/2" x 2 1/4" scrap of Basic White Cardstock, I stamped the sentiment in Sweet Sorbet. I then cut a chevron in the right side of it, as well as in the right side of a 1/2" x 2 1/2" scrap of Distressed Gold Specialty Paper. Then I used Mini Glue Dots to adhere them to each other.
Next, I adhered a 3 1/4" x 4 3/4" panel of Country Floral Lane DSP to a Basic White Note Card. This DSP might seem an unusual choice for an ice cream card, as all the hearts suggest Valentine's Day - but the striped pattern made me think of an ice cream shop. I do love all the heart patterns as well:
I then added the ovals and stamped label to my card with Stampin' Dimensionals. Using the Ice Cream Cone Builder Punch, I punched the cone out of Distressed Gold Specialty Paper and the ice cream out of 2022-2024 In Color Glimmer Paper. I added them to the ovals with Stampin' Dimensionals.
Final steps were to embellish with Festive Pearls and a bow in Sweet Sorbet 1/8" Metallic Woven Ribbon.
