Friends, I've got one more yeti card for you today - and a special offer! If you missed the first two cards using the year-round Yeti to Party stamp set, you can find them here and here. And don't forget, the stamp set is just $10 in the Last Chance Sale! Some other items used on the card are also on sale right now. I'll include a clickable photo supply list for you at the end of this post.
This time, I've chosen a colour scheme of Polished Pink, Poppy Parade, and white to give the colours additional pop. The card could be used for Valentine's Day, anniversaries, engagements, or just a friendly hello. It also works well for both adults and children.
To make the card, I started by using the Scalloped Contours Dies to cut the second-largest rectangle in the set from Basic White Cardstock. Then I stamped the sentiment in Poppy Parade near the top. Onto another piece of Basic White, I stamped the yeti and a heart, then coloured them with Stampin' Blends: Poppy Parade (dark), Melon Mambo (light), and Flirty Flamingo (light - yeti's face). I cut out these images.
To assemble, I adhered a 3 3/4" x 5" Celebrate Everything DSP panel to a 4" x 5 1/4" Basic White panel. Then I attached the scalloped rectangle and added the yeti and heart with Stampin' Dimensionals. Also using dimensionals, I attached the panels to a 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" Polished Pink card base. To finish the card, I added Solid Faceted Gems and a bow from Real Red Double-Stitched Satin Ribbon. Although it is Real Red instead of Poppy Parade, the shine on the satin lightens the colour's appearance so that it matches Poppy Parade very well. And bonus - the ribbon is just $4.10 on the Clearance Rack!
