Friends, I just love the whimsical Yeti to Party stamp set! After making a holiday card yesterday, I couldn't wait to try a birthday card today. (If you missed yesterday's card, you can find it here.)
This versatile stamp set is good for occasions year-round and lends a fun aspect to any project. The yeti set is also deeply discounted, at only $10! For my birthday card, I chose a colour scheme taken from the equally versatile Celebrate Everything DSP. This DSP is retiring soon, so get it while you can! I'll include a photo supply list at the end of this post. Just click on the item and it will open in my online store.
I started by stamping the sentiment in Pacific Point ink onto a scrap of Polished Pink Cardstock. Using Tuxedo Black Memento ink, I stamped the present onto a Basic White Cardstock scrap, then stamped the yeti and banners onto a 3" x 4 1/4" Basic White panel. I used Stampin' Blends to colour the images: Daffodil Delight (dark), Melon Mambo (light), and the two Pool Party markers. I cut out the sentiment and present, then added the present and sentiment to the yeti panel with Stampin' Dimensionals. (If you need the Yeti Dies, they're now only $15.60!)
To assemble the card, I adhered a 3 3/4" x 5" Celebrate Everything panel to a 4" x 5 1/4" Pacific Point panel. Then I attached them to the 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" Thick White card base with dimensionals. I also adhered the yeti panel to the card base with dimensionals. My final step was to add Fine Sparkle Adhesive-Backed Gems (on sale right now for $4.10!).
