Friends, today's New Year's card is another take on yesterday's design. It's amazing how simply changing the colours and DSP can produce a completely different card! If you missed yesterday's card, you can find it here.
These cards were created mostly with items from the Last Chance Sale. Order these retiring items (with many at discounted prices) before they retire on January 5th! I'll include a clickable photo supply list for you at the end of this post, which will take you directly to the item in the sale.
To create this card, I started by using the Stylish Shapes Dies to cut out the largest label in the set from Basic White Cardstock. I used Tuxedo Black Memento Ink to stamp my sentiment from the Splendid Thoughts stamp set. I then used a Blending Brush to add some Daffodil Delight Ink to each firework burst on my 2" x 5 1/2" strip of Celebrate Everything DSP.
To assemble, I adhered a 2 1/2" x 5 1/2" strip of Daffodil Delight Cardstock to a 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" Thick White card base, then layered on the strip of DSP. I used Stampin' Dimensionals to add the label, then tied a bow in Gold 3/8" Shimmer Ribbon (on sale for just $4.40!) and attached it with a Mini Glue Dot. I embellished with Adhesive-Backed Seasonal Sequins. Presto, a New Year's card!
