Julie Golding Page: THIS or THAT? Ringed with Nature Love & Warmth Cards

Friends, I enjoy playing with colours - how about you? And so today's card is the same design as yesterday's, only made with different colours. (If you missed yesterday's card, you can find it here.) Both cards are based on a design by American demonstrator Ronda Wade, and they both feature the Ringed with Nature Bundle, Storybook Gnomes DSP, and Wonderful Snowflakes embellishments. Here's today's version of the card, with a Pool Party and Bermuda Bay colour scheme:

To make the card, I used the dies to cut a tree ring from Soft Suede Cardstock and the matching interior from Basic White. I stamped the sentiment onto the white interior in Bermuda Bay and adhered it to the tree ring. Then I used the embossing folder to emboss a 2" x 5 1/2" Soft Suede strip with tree rings. I attached a length of White 3/8" Glittered Organdy Ribbon to the strip, securing with Mini Glue Dots on the back. Then I adhered the strip to a 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" Pool Party card base.

After that, it was a matter of assembly. I attached a 3" x 4" DSP panel to a 3 1/4" x 4 1/4" Bermuda Bay panel. Using dimensionals, I adhered the tree rings to the middle and tucked two Wonderful Snowflakes under their edges. Then I added some Rhinestone Basic Jewels. To finish the card, I attached the entire panel to the card base with dimensionals, then added a bow with glue dots.
