Friends, how are you doing as we approach the holiday rush? This ramp-up time can be extremely busy and overwhelming for many. Some of us may approach the season with dread, for reasons such as family conflict or the prospect of celebrating without a loved one. For still others among us, we may feel left out in the cold if we don't celebrate any of the seasonal holidays, for religious or other reasons.
In any case, this time of year is not as happy and uncomplicated as gingerbread and glittery parcels might suggest (as much as I like those things). Featuring the Nothing's Better Than stamp set and Love You More Than Dies, today's card can provide a sweet (and no-cal!) taste of encouragement when it might be most needed:
To make the card, I started by stamping the chocolate image in Versamark Ink onto a Basic White Cardstock scrap. I sprinkled generously Copper embossing powder over the image and embossed with my heat tool. (The embossing creates a rich, copper colour that works really well with the chocolates.) Then I coloured the chocolates using Stampin' Blends. (See the clickable photo list at the end of this post for all the products I used.)
Or why not join my Creative Cafe group? You'll receive $30+ of FREE products just for signing up, plus the chance to participate in a $10/month card class and a minimum 20% discount on future orders throughout your membership! There's no obligation to sell (or even buy) anything ever again.
