As promised, today's card is the second instalment in a series highlighting the Trimming the Tree stamp set. If you missed yesterday's easy-peasy card, click here. This lovely set (qui est également disponible en français) may have been overlooked a little, due to being in the Annual Catalogue rather than the holiday mini. However, it's a real gem with lots of possibilities! I actually CASE'd (Copy And Share Everything) this design from page 43 of the Annual Catalogue, then changed the colours to suit my own tastes:
To assemble the card, I adhered the stamped panel to a 3 3/4" x 5" Granny Apple Green panel to create a card mat. Then I used dimensionals to attach the card mat to a 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" Shaded Spruce card base. To finish the card, I layered on a small piece of Real Red 3/8" Mini Ruffled Ribbon and then used dimensionals to add the sentiment. Then I placed Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels on the tree like ornaments, and the card was done!
I've got one more Trimming the Tree card up my sleeve, so come back tomorrow for my 3rd and final project in the series! 😊
